1980-2010 : 30 ANS DE HOUSE !!!
Considéré comme LE pionnier des DJs et de la House en France, RLP a débuté sa carrière à la fin des années 70 au Canada et arrive au milieu des années 80 à Paris.
Rapidement il mixe dans les plus grands clubs de la capitale (Le Palace, Les Bains, Le Rex Club…) et anime plusieurs émissions mythiques sur RFM et RADIO 7.
Directeur artistique de son propre label chez PolyGram dans les années 90, il revient au Deejaying en 99, lance
son label RLPMIX Records et produit plusieurs compilations à succès : TOTAL DANCEFLOOR et TOTAL DIVA (1,2 et 3), LATIN SENSATION, ORIENTAL VIBES, RLPMIX, etc.
Ses vinyls “VIBENESS”, “DO WATCHA LIKE”, « MY WILL TO SURVIVE » et “EGYPTIAN DRUMMER” connaissent un succès international et sont joués par les plus grands DJs. Plus récemment, son single « On Your Side » a reçu un accueil enthousiasme de la communauté des DJs internationnaux.
Résident sur FG DJ Radio depuis 2001, on peut l’écouter aussi sur une quinzaine de radios locales en France mais aussi au Canada, en Allemagne, Bulgarie, Italie, Pologne, Suisse, Belgique, Angleterre, Portugal, Espagne…
30 ans après ses débuts et toujours au top, il est aujourd’hui résident mensuel le samedi au Queen (Paris).
RLP est un des DJs les plus novateurs et les plus convoités du moment, pour ses mixes House festifs, sa maîtrise du dancefloor et des platines.
1980-2010 : 30 years of House !
RLP has been mixing records since 1979 when he started DJing in Montréal, Canada.
After playing in the city’s biggest clubs, he witnessed the fine art of «monsieur» Larry Levan himself at NYC’s Paradise Garage and played at the lendary Danceteria, New York.
He moved to Paris to impose his own art of mixing in 1983 to the french audience. Little did he know that he would break grounds and introduce mixing and scratching to the french audiance.
Producer of his own radio shows at the age of 20 on the mythical Paris RADIO 7 radio station,
he soon started his DJ residencies in 2 of Paris hottest Clubs : LES BAINS DOUCHES and LE PALACE.
As a true innovator, he started the first HOUSE MUSIC nights at the legendary REX CLUB back in 1986.
After a long break as a Dance Label Manager at Polygram France, he reappeares in 1999 on the front of the DJ scene with his own radio mix show on one of France’s biggest FM Network “Europe 2″ : NIGHT FEVER on saturday nights.
In 2001, He released his first 12″ in September as RLP : “VIBENESS” on his new record label RLPMIX Records and Radio FG signs him for a weekly radio mix show, along side Roger Sanchez, Carl Cox, Bob Sinclar and Pete Tong.
In 2002, He’s resident DJ at London’s OPIUM every fridays for 18 months.
In 2003, RLP signs his fisrt endorsment contract with Pioneer France.
He plays in 2003, 2004 and 2005 in front of over 10 000 clubbers at the PUR MIX events in Paris Bercy (with Robbie Riviera, Armand Van Helden, David Getta, Bob Sinclar).
In september 2004, he signs his first true monthly residency in Paris at AMNESIA for Madness on saturdays.
Ever since, he is featured in the country’s biggest and best clubs. With over 100 club dates per year, RLP is surely one of France’s TOP RATED DJ.
In 2006, RLP played in Russia, Poland (Krakow), Morroco, Luxembourg, Belgium, to finaly sign a monthly residency at Paris famed QUEEN Club for his own night : LOVE SENSATION
In 2007 and 2008, RLP has broken new territories such as Hong Kong (Dragon i), Montréal (Time & Club Stereo), Miami (Opium & Dek23), Poland (Utopia & Platinium in Warsaw), Bulgaria, La Réunion Island, Mauricius Island, Bali… His RLPMIX radio show is now broadcasted in over 20 countries worldwide.
RLP is one of the most inovative and creative DJ of the moment, with his incredible technique and controle of the dancefloor.
His music is played by the best and hix mixes turn just about every clubber on the planet.

j’etais un fidele de R7 et fan de prince. le Remix, lors de sa venue en 1985, apres son absence depuis 81, etait un pur regal; mais j’ai perdu la K7 ou il etait enregistré et je suis tres “malheureux” bien sur.
je vous contacte afin e savoir si je peux esperer de votre part une aide pour retrouver cet enregistrement, c’etait durant un more music no talk, specila prince, mais je suis certain que vous voyez deja de quel remix il s’agit.
